Marvel Rivals, the hero shooter featuring an array of characters from across the Marvel universe, will come to consoles in addition to the previously announced PC release. The announcement was made during Sony’s State of Play presentation. A closed beta is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in late July.

The new trailer revealed two new characters, Venom and Adam Warlock, mixing it up in the arena, along with the recently unveiled Hela. It also made a point of showing both double and triple team-up attacks between teammates. Specifically we see a team-up between Rocket Raccoon and The Punisher, Scarlet Witch and Magneto, and a three-person team-up with Warlock, Star-Lord, and Mantis. At one point a pagoda in the environment is destroyed by Storm’s tornado, to show off the destructible environments. The PlayStation 5 will get an exclusive Scarlet Spider costume for Spider-Man. The trailer ends with a teaser for another character, as Galacta hints that it shows “how mankind has conquered space.”
